Based in Doncaster, Clyde Pneumatic operates a busy warehouse storage facility and with driver welfare and efficiency in mind, the customer was looking for a solution to help forklift drivers have better visibility when using Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) trucks. This in turn would enhance safety and efficiency in their high bay warehouse.
We worked closely with the customer and suggested a wireless carriage mounted screen that would be fixed to the forklift truck in the cab for the driver to view. The wireless camera was then fixed to the fork attachments giving clear visibility when working at height.
Initially we carried out a proof of concept trial to demonstrate the wireless carriage mounted camera solution would be the most efficient for their requirements. After a successful trial, the customer approved the installation and we fixed the camera system to the VNA truck as a permeant feature.
