A Change of Faces & Further Expansion
A long standing fixture for Transmon Engineering Ltd is that of Bob Warner, Business Development Manager. Bob has been with Transmon for many years and has put in many, many hours of service! Today was Bob's last working day with us here as he has retired, leaving some experienced shoes to fill. Bob has been a wealth of knowledge for all of us here and we would like to thank him for his years of service and dedication to Transmon and the forklift industry as a whole.
We knew this day would be coming so Ross Munro joined the team back in April 2017 to help lighten the load for Bob and to help drive the business forward. Due to the success of both Ross and Bob's hard work a new sales person was required.
Rhiannon Draycott comes from a strong forklift background having spent 2 years with one of the UK's largest forklift manufacturers and joins us as a Sales Executive. The role will be both field and office based and will see Rhiannon driving the business forward with both dealers and end-users tapping into companies and sectors not previously dealt with as part of Transmon Engineering's 'core' business. Both Rhiannon and Ross will be working together to build on the record breaking 2017 that Transmon has had and to try and beat this for 2018.
2017 also saw the addition of Dean Williams to our Engineering team as a Field Installations Engineer, Dean has had many years as a forklift engineer and has relished the challenge that working for Transmon brings and has already found himself contributing to the design and development of future products. This increases our number of Engineers out in the field to enable us to even better support our expanding customer base.
All of this expansion has prompted an increase in our office staff as well. Lauralee who is the Office Manager here has got Transmon through this record breaking period and will be supported in 2018 by Katie Farrant who joins us as a full-time Sales Administrator. Katie comes from a strong background in admin and organisation so will be a perfect fit for the office and will be a welcome addition to the team and will enable us to reach our 2018 goals.
So to Bob we wish you a happy retirement and to the new faces at Transmon Engineering Ltd we welcome you to the Transmon family!
